VISITOR EXPERIENCE

Visitors to Navy SEAL Museum San Diego will learn what it takes to become a Navy SEAL or NSW operator. Guests will get a feel for what kind of missions SEALs and SWCC undertake to ensure this nation’s safety and its citizens’ freedoms.

Anyone who visits Navy SEAL Museum San Diego will learn about the Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT) World War II, the forefathers to all Navy SEALs.

Becoming a Navy SEAL takes determination, grit, adaptability, courage, focus, and fortitude. You will get a sense of how rigorous and grueling the Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training is and why only about 30% of those who attempt it can actually graduate. Visitors will be able to dive into the SEAL mindset and motivations, discovering relatable qualities they can apply to their own lives and challenges.

Interactive galleries will provide visitors with the opportunity to explore the sacrifice, service, and commitment of Navy SEALs. Through dynamic missions of their own creation using virtual and augmented reality, visitors will experience the exhilaration and intrigue of the Special Operations Forces world.

Museum patrons will come away with a greater appreciation of those individuals whose contagious patriotism inspires them to ask, “What can I do to serve a cause higher than myself?”
