TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS – NAVY SEAL MUSEUM SAN DIEGO
REVOCABLE LICENSE – ACCEPTANCE OF RISK OF INJURY
By entering the Navy SEAL Museum San Diego (“Museum”), the ticket purchaser and/or holder (“Holder”) acknowledges and accepts the following terms and conditions
1. Acceptance: Holder certifies that they have had the opportunity to review and accept these terms and conditions for themselves and, if applicable, as a parent or guardian for any accompanying minors. Holder represents that they are legally competent to accept these terms on behalf of any minors and will be responsible for their conduct.
2. Limited License: This ticket is a non-refundable, limited license granting access to the Museum, valid only for the date indicated on the ticket and only for use by the Holder. The Museum may revoke this license at any time, with or without cause, and without refund. No refunds, exchanges, or re-admission are permitted once the Holder has entered the Museum.
3. Assumption of Risk and Release: Holder, on behalf of themselves and any accompanying minors, voluntarily assumes all risks of injury, harm, or incident arising from the use of this ticket, including but not limited to:
a. Exposure to or contraction of infectious diseases or illnesses
b. Personal injury
c. Loss, theft, or damage to property
Holder releases, discharges, and holds harmless the Museum from any and all claims or liabilities arising from use of this ticket
4. Photography and Filming: Visitors may be filmed or photographed during their visit. By using this ticket, Holder irrevocably grants permission to the Museum and its authorized third parties to use the Holder’s and any accompanying minor’s image, likeness, name, voice, and comments for all purposes, in any media, without compensation.
5. Prohibited Items and Conduct: No outside food or beverages are permitted. All persons and bags are subject to search and security checks. Dangerous items—including but not limited to guns, knives, weapons, fireworks, flammable substances, lighters, or matches—are strictly prohibited. The Museum is a non-smoking, tobacco-free, and vape-free facility.
6. Personal Photography: Personal photographs and videos for private use are permitted; however, any use for broadcast, publication, or commercial purpose requires prior written permission from the Museum.
7. Transfer and Resale Restrictions: Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold or used for unauthorized promotional purposes (including contests, sweepstakes, or giveaways) without prior written permission from the Museum.
8. Museum Discretion and Code of Conduct: Admission may be refused or Holder removed at the Museum’s sole discretion for disruptive or disorderly conduct (including being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances), failure to comply with Museum’s Code of Conduct, staff instructions, posted rules, or security procedures.
9. Full Terms: By using this ticket, Holder also acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the Museum’s full website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, as available at www.navysealmuseumsd.org. In the event of any conflict between these ticket terms and the website terms, these ticket terms shall govern your visit.
