You and your choice of PLUS ONE are cordially invited to an exclusive preview event celebrating the grand opening of the Navy SEAL Museum San Diego.
You will be amongst the first to experience the Showcase before the public.
It feels like just yesterday we were gathered, united by a vision for a museum that would honor the legacy and sacrifice of Naval Special Warfare. Through your unwavering dedication and tireless efforts over the years, that vision is no longer just an idea – it is a reality. This incredible accomplishment is a testament to your commitment, and for that, we offer our deepest gratitude.
Before the doors open to the public, we invite you to be among the very first to walk through the completed museum. This exclusive preview is our way of saying thank you and giving you the opportunity to experience the extraordinary exhibits and honor the history you helped bring to life.
The October opening of the Navy SEAL Museum will serve as a launchpad for a larger, world-class San Diego location/institution in the future with the opportunity for even greater impact.
But for now, let us pause and celebrate what we created together.

Event Information
Please note, this event is being held the night before the Thursday October 2, 2025 Board Meetings. The Executive Session will take place prior to the general session. For those attending in person we will be meeting at:

We have partnered with the SpringHill Suites San Diego Downtown/Bayfront – which is in walking distance to the Showcase Exhibition—to offer a great nightly rate to NSMSD Board Members of $249.00 USD per night for stays between Wednesday, October 1, 2025 and Sunday, October 5, 2025.

Pre and postdate requests – For any pre or postdates please book the dates available then email Adrienne Duplesis at Adrienne.d.duplesis@marriott.com for your additional date request.
Changes and Cancellations Procedures – For audit and confirmation purposes all Changes and Cancels must be emailed to Group Housing (Adrienne.d.duplesis@marriott.com) at least 72 hours prior to arrival to be processed. No phone changes will be accepted.

Getting to Navy SEAL Museum San Diego
The Museum is located at 1001 Kettner Blvd. San Diego, CA 92101 in downtown San Diego close to the USS Midway Museum and Maritime Museum of San Diego and across the street from Santa Fe Depot train and trolley station.
Parking:
Public street parking is available throughout downtown and is subject to fees and availability.
If you’re driving, please consider these lots near by:
Above-ground parking (uncovered):
- ACE Parking – 1661 Kettner Blvd – just 0.1 mi (a 2 minute walk) from the museum
- ACE Parking – 1600 Pacific Highway – ~0.15 mi away
- Manchester Surface Lot (Ace-managed) – ~0.26 mi away
Underground parking:
- America Plaza – 660 W B St
- Upon entering you will receive a ticket. Just to the right of that kiosk you will see an elevator. After you’ve parked, take that elevator. It will put you at our ground floor. There is another elevator down there which, if you take, will mean you simply need to cross the trolley tracks to get to the building.
- Springhill Suites – 900 Bayfront Court
- If you choose to stay at the Springhill Suites, parking is available there as well and the hotel can provide you with the optimal parking instructions
Ride Share & Taxi:
For convenience, we strongly recommend ride share services (Uber, Lyft) or local taxis.
MTS Trolley and North County COASTER:
Public transit is an excellent option to get to Navy SEAL Museum San Diego as the MTS Trolley’s UC San Diego Blue, Green, and Orange lines interchange at America Plaza, adjacent to the Museum. You can also take the COASTER directly to Santa Fe Depot.
