Navy SEAL Museum San Diego Plank Owner Preview Event

Wednesday, 24 SEP 2025 | 0800-2000 HRS

Teammates, Families, and Supporters,

YOU AND ONE GUEST are cordially invited to the Plank Owner Premiere at Navy SEAL Museum San Diego.

This special event is dedicated to you, the warriors, families, and friends whose generosity and commitment have made this Museum a reality. Because of your support, the vision for this Museum has been brought to life, and we are honored to welcome you as the very first to experience it in its completed form.

As a Plank Owner, you’ll be among the first to stand before the Combat Diver Statue, where the names of SEAL Classes that participated are now permanently etched into the granite base, a lasting tribute to your legacy. Just inside the Museum, the SWCC Recognition Wall proudly displays the Classes and Eras of the Special Warfare Combat Crewmen whose support helped shape this space. Both campaigns exceeded their goals, not only in the number of donors and dollars raised, but in the spirit of unity and pride that fueled them, with contributions coming not only from operators, but also from families, teammates, and friends honoring those who serve.

This Museum exists to educate, inspire, and preserve the legacy of Naval Special Warfare. Through immersive exhibits and meaningful interactions with our docent team, composed of retired SEALs and SWCC, guests will gain a deeper appreciation for the courage, innovation, and sacrifice that define our community. You’ve helped build a place that will motivate future generations to serve something greater than themselves.

We are profoundly grateful for your fire support throughout this mission. My hope is that this event provides not only a sense of accomplishment, but also a chance to reconnect with Teammates and Boat Crews, past and present, and reflect on what we’ve built together.

Stronger together, as always.

Hooyah
Very respectfully,
CAPT Brian “Beef” Drechsler, USN (Retired)
Executive Director, Navy SEAL Museum San Diego
